Can we do IELTS after 10th attempt?

As mentioned earlier, retaking the IELTS exam is possible. However, it’s important that you consider a few things before your next attempt.

This week, it has been released that starting in the new year of 2023, students will no longer have to retake the entire IELTS exam when they don’t receive their desired band. Instead, you will only be required to retake only the module you want to receive a high band in.

Completing the IELTS exam in multiple attempts is easy, but getting your desired band is challenging. That’s why it’s important you identify your areas of weakness and work on those.

Here are some tips to help you get started.

First, be sure to familiarize yourself with the format of the test. The IELTS is a four-part test, made up of listening, reading, writing, and speaking sections. You will need to know what type of questions will be asked and what the time limits will be.

Second, practice, practice, practice! The more you do sample tests and exercises, the better prepared you will be for the real thing. Try different types of questions so that you can become comfortable with all aspects of the test. And don’t forget to time yourself – this is something you will need to do on test day as well.

Third, make a study plan and stick to it! It’s important to have a set schedule and not try to cram everything in at the last minute. Dedicate specific times each day or week to studying so that you can focus without feeling overwhelmed. And break down your goals into manageable steps so that you always know what you need.

Although the news about single module retakes has been announced to take effect as of the new year, it’s essential to note that currently the IELTS retake fee for a single module has not been announced.

Because of this, it’s important that you do not assume that the single module IELTS retake fee will be divided between the four sections. In fact, we assume that you may be charged between 40 to 65 percent of the price.

While we are not sure about the current IELTS retake fee for a single module retake, this is something you will be updated on once we are given the news.

Here are a few tips I have as an experienced IELTS coach as I often give advice to my students:

The first step is to decide how much time you can realistically dedicate to studying. Remember that you will need to balance your studies with your other commitments, so be realistic in your planning. Once you have an idea of the amount of time you can commit to studying, you can start to develop a more specific plan.

When creating a study schedule, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure to include time for both study and practice. You will need to put in the time to learn the material, but you will also need to spend time practicing what you have learned.

Second, be flexible in your schedule. Things will come up that you didn’t plan for, so it’s important to be able to adjust your schedule as needed. Finally, make sure to include breaks in your schedule. This will help you to avoid burnout and will allow you to come back to your studies refreshed and ready to learn.

In addition to a study schedule, there are a few other things that can be helpful in developing your study plan. First, consider using flashcards. Flashcards can be a great way to review material and can be used in a variety of ways. Second, find a study partner. Having someone to study with can make the process more enjoyable and can help to keep you accountable. Finally, make use of resources such as books, websites, and apps.

However, if this is the first time you may be wondering what documents are required for IELTS. When registering for the IELTS exam, you will need to provide certain documentation.
